Versión actualizada del certificado de naturalización

A partir de esta semana, los EE.UU.. Departamento de Seguridad Nacional / Servicio de Ciudadanía e Inmigración comenzó a emitir una nueva versión del certificado de naturalización para los inmigrantes recién naturalizados. El nuevo documento se asemeja a la versión anterior, except that certain high tech security features have been added. Prospective applicants for naturalization should know that the procedures for applying for citizenship remain the same, including the requirement that 2 passport type photos still be included with each application – although the application process will now include the capture of an applicant’s digital photo at the time they appear for biometrics fingerprinting. También, the millions of naturalized citizens who were issued previous versions of the certificate are not required to take action to obtain a new version certificate.
