The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a major pro-business private association and lobbying group is set to invest at least $50 million in 2014 mid-term elections to support candidates who are seen as crucial to facilitating passage of immigration reform legislation.   Most of the congressman benefitting from this initiative will be incumbent Congressman looking to fend off challenges by Tea Party leaning candidates.  Just another forum/context in which the Republican Party and its identity are at a crossroads.
